Yetunde
Borokinni-Abdul
Author. Storyteller. A woman walking her own forties with curiosity, faith and a notebook always nearby.
Her story
Yetunde Borokinni-Abdul grew up surrounded by stories — the ones told over Sunday meals, the ones whispered between friends, and the ones written in the quiet of her own journals. Years later, those stories became the seed of Dear Forty Somethings: a book born from conversations with women who, like her, were learning that midlife is not a crisis but a call.
Why she writes
"I write for the woman who looks in the mirror at forty and wonders what's next. I write for the one who has loved hard, lost some, kept going. I write because we deserve a book that meets us right where we are." Through honest prose, gentle humour and reflections drawn from her own life, Yetunde offers the kind of company every reader recognises.
